I was commissioned to do this piece for someone who needed a wedding gift for a Texas couple who would be relocating to the state of Washington and needed a nice reminder of back home. I decided to go very loose with my linework to add movement, expression, and texture to this composition of just 3 elements, flag, sky, and bluebonnets. You know I just can't do conservative, traditional style, right?
